Sports Massage 1hr (extra 15 mins for first appointment) £50
During your initial appointment we will go through a short consultation and then I will carry out a postural assessment and range of movements to identify any problem areas. This will allow us to decide on an appropriate treatment plan for you. I can incorporate as part of the treatment the use of Myofascial Cupping, Hot Stones to warm muscles or Taping (K-Tape) when I feel there would be a benefit and in agreement with you the client. Aims of the treatment will be to reduce pain and improve any restrictions in range of movements.
Oncology Massage £65 1hr
Oncology Massage can support you if you are diagnosed with or recovering from cancer. regular massage during this time can help to alleviate some of the symptoms of treatment, reduce pain and create a general sense of wellbeing. All treatments are tailored to your individual needs.
Hot Stone Therapy £40-£60
This therapy originates from ancient Native American traditions and is an advanced therapeutic technique using the application of heated volcanic basalt stones and cold marble stones. It involves working the soft tissue of the body, to ease day-to-day stresses and muscular tension, and promote relaxation. It helps to increase delivery of blood and oxygen to the treated areas and can also be used in support of other therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of muscular injuries. Indian Head Massage 30-45min £30
Indian Head Massage is based on the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years.
It is a relaxing holistic treatment that uses acupressure massage to release stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. It aims to rebalance your body’s energies.
Pre-Event Massage 30mins £25
Pre-event massage ideally should be performed within a couple of hours prior to the event but can take place up to a couple of days before also. Its functions are to optimise performance, warm ups and increase blood supply to the muscles, decrease muscle tension, encourage appropriate range of movement in the joints, create a state of “readiness” in the muscles and allow for mental preparation.
Post-Event Massage 30mins £25
Post-Event massage - This appointment usually takes place within 2-6 hours after the event but can still be beneficial within a couple of days. It’s much lighter and superficial than your usual sports massage where it’s aim is to assess for injury or tissue damage, normalise tissue, restore muscle tone and length, flush out congested areas, prevent or lessen soreness and relieve muscle cramps & spasms.
